Ford has finally revealed a game-changing vehicle for their new Raptor line, the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor. Since the new Bronco’s release, it has seen tremendous support, but Ford Performance has stepped it up a notch and opened up a brand new platform for their fan-favorite, F-150 Raptor. Coming in the Summer of 2022, Ford has opened this option up for reservation holders of the base model Ford Bronco. If you’re having trouble deciding if this is the next offroad vehicle for you, let’s get into the specs…

Under the Hood

Under the hood of this awesome offroad SUV is the 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 that has been fine-tuned by the Ford Performance team that is aiming to have over 400 horsepower. That is roughly 100 more horsepower than the base model 2022 Bronco.

Offroad Performance

Taking after the 2021 Ford Raptor, the Bronco Raptor boasts 13.1 inches of ground clearance. This is aided by its massive 37 inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires that come standard. It also features Fox Racing Internal Bypass Coilovers with Live Valve Technology to help soak up bumps whether you’re on the road or flying through the desert. Also taken after the F-150 Raptor, the track width of the new Bronco has been widened to roughly the same as the 2021 F-150. The new suspension system gives the Bronco 13 inches of travel in the front and 14 inches in the rear.

If you love the sounds of Baja trucks, Ford Performance has added an active valve exhaust system with options for; quiet, normal, sport, and Baja. This ensures you don’t have to wake up the neighbors starting it up but you can easily increase the sound to impress your friends.

Ford has also revamped their GOAT modes that are available by adding two new modes such as Baja mode and Tow and Haul mode that compliments the new 4500lbs towing capacity.
