NovSight Cyber1 LED Light Pod Review - Budget Friendly & Durable Ditch Lights

If you're into offroading and overlanding, you know the importance of strong and reliable auxiliary lighting. When it comes to quality LED light pods, the Novsight Cyber1 series caught my attention due to the powerful lighting, easy setup, ability to swap lenses for amber and white lighting on the go, and the low price.

Whether you're taking your vehicle out on a rocky trail or navigating through a dense forest, the Novsight Cyber1 LED Pods are a great addition to enhance your visibility and safety during your adventurous trips.

Overview

Are you an avid off-roader or simply someone who spends a lot of time driving on poorly lit roads? If so, you understand the importance and luxury of having high-quality lighting on your vehicle. That's where Novsight LED light pods come in. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider picking up some Novsight lighting for your vehicle.

Firstly, Novsight LED light pods are actually pretty bright. When driving at night, it's crucial to have good lighting to not only see where you're going but also to be visible to other drivers on the road or trails. With Novsight LED light pods, you can be confident that you can safely navigate any terrain or dark road you encounter.

Secondly, Novsight LED light pods are built to last. They are made of high-quality materials that can withstand the toughest driving conditions. Novsight LED light pods are also waterproof and dustproof, meaning they can handle even the most extreme climate conditions and off-road conditions. With Novsight lights, you can be sure that they will last for years to come, saving you money over time.

Toyota Tacoma with Novsight Cyber1 Ditch Lights

Install

Tools Required

Before you start, be sure you have everything you need to complete the installation. Here's what you'll need:

  • Zip ties

  • Basic tools, including a socket set, wrenches, and the provided Allen wrenches.

  • Ditch light brackets (I got mine from Cali Raised LED)

Step 2: Choose a mounting location

The first step is to decide exactly where you'll be mounting your light pods. The pods are small and versatile, so there are plenty of options to choose from depending on your specific needs. Some popular mounting locations include:

  • Underneath/on the front bumper of your vehicle

  • On a grille guard

  • Attached to the roof rack or roll cage

  • Hood ditch light brackets

Step 3: Wiring

The wiring is very simple and the Cyber1 pods come with a super simple wiring diagram. If you are installing them on a vehicle like I did, simply:

  1. Disconnect battery

  2. Attach the wires to the battery terminals

  3. Attach the relay to a grounding bolt on your vehicles frame

  4. Optional**: Run the switch through your vehicles firewall and into the cab.

Note: You may notice that the red light stays on on the switch even with the vehicle off if you connected them to the battery. This is normal and I have been running mine for a while with no signs of it draining the battery due to super low voltage in the light and the relay.
